Be Realistic
An audacious unconventional dreamer shares a dream, ….
… and, without fail, nondreamers tell the dreamer to “be realistic” — or that their dream is “unrealistic.”
After their name, “Hello …”, and “Goodbye …”, the next thing that dreamers hear more often, is the phrase “… be realistic!”
The
New Oxford American Dictionary defines reality as, ” … the world or the state of things as they actually exist, … “
Assuming that that is a good enough definition, to tell someone to be realistic is to be a shortsighted fool fooled by, “reality”, the state of things as they currently exist.
But, not all that exists today existed yesterday. And not all that exists today will exist tomorrow. As a matter of fact, the world has more man-made things than Mother-Nature-made things. Furthermore, every single noble man-made thing was at some point nonexistent — thus, by definition, — “unrealistic,” then.
Which then means that both “reality” and “unrealistic” are temporary. Therefore, …
