Being Right is Overrated
To be right, the longing of every arguer in their right mind, is overrated.
Whenever you prove or realize that you are right; the only thing that you’ll confirm is that you know what you know. And that, what you know is right.
Now enter the greatest tutor of them all; being wrong.
When you are wrong, to most, you have failed. But failure is nothing but a blessing; a brick that’s imperative to building one’s mansion of wisdom.
The frequency of one’s “wrongness” will determine how much new knowledge will one acquire. Pray to be the wrong one, and be wrong as frequent as possible.
You’ll take home a lesson, while he who is right, is left.
(Left with nothing but a consolation price — an “ego stroke.”)
