Christians Are So Lost!!!

…well, to some people.

Muhammed Ahmad Suphi bumped into The human divide writing, and he then sent me an email saying that he has spent a lot of time on the subject matter.

(Plus to share a writing that he wrote on the subject.)

He later asked me to “shed some light on the divide which continues to increase in the human society rather than just common sense.”

And below is my reply to his request:

I think the reason behind the divide is straightforward, but a mystery to many.

Generally, every single person is certain that they’re right, and whoever that’s unlike them is wrong, disorientated, or not “seeing the light” — be it in a sense of — their beliefs, how they look, or how they see the world.

I am convinced that Atheists, without doubt, believe that Christians are lost, while Christians are certain that the opposite is really true.

And in our world, perception is more powerful than reality. Seeing that reality is nothing but how one perceives whatever that’s in question.

We trust a medical doctor’s opinion over an “uneducated” traditional healer, solely because we perceive the doctor to be an expert, thus, more knowledgeable and trustworthy than the “unschooled” healer.

(And, because of nothing but perception, the schooled appear credible, while the unschooled’s opinions are rarely entertained.)
