Credibility vs. Ability
A teenager’s judgment is outweighed by that of a person with whiter hair.
Yet not every old person is wise, and not every wise person is old.
The teachings of a teacher outweighs those of a learner.
Yet not every teacher knows everything that every learner learned.
An affluent financial advisor’s advice outweighs that of a broke advisor.
Yet not every affluent advisor’s advise will yield profits.
(Likewise, with the very same effect that perception has on a perceiver, a fit fitness instructor’s instructions outweigh instructions by an overweight fitness instructor.)
