Employment Killed Gifts
Employment has subtly trained us to expect something in return for our deeds.
Employment gave birth to the selfish question, “What’s in it for me?”
As a result, we have evolved into creatures that seldom help another, without the expectation of getting paid, or, at the least,
getting laid.
As men, we’ve become creatures that rarely helps a sister out, without expecting to get an orgasm or eight.
This has led to your typical
woman thinking that a man is after her behind, whenever she comes across a chivalrous he. Inevitably, that breeds hostility in she.
(Helping someone is a
gift. However, expecting something in return from the helped, makes it a
business transaction.)
