We, as human beings, are all members of the human race. But …
There are untold reasons (or rather: excuses) for John to see Sarah as an outcast.
Inevitably, prejudice, discrimination, and, hate are usually byproducts of such divides.
John is from Africa, and, Sarah is from Asia.
John is from South Africa, and, Sarah is from Nigeria.
John is from Gauteng, and, Sarah is from Eastern Cape.
John is from Soweto, and, Sarah is from Tembisa.
John is a male, and ,Sarah is a female.
John is homosexual, and, Sarah is heterosexual.
John is white, and, Sarah is black.
John is Venda, and, Sarah is Xhosa.
John is into soccer, and, Sarah loves rugby.
John supports Orlando Pirates, and, Sarah supports Kaizer Chiefs.
John likes coffee, and, Sarah prefers tea.
John is wealthy, and, Sarah is poor.
John is underweight, and, Sarah is overweight.
John likes Michael Jackson, and, Sarah likes Prince.
John likes Chris Rock, and, Sarah likes David Kau.
John likes me, and, Sarah likes you.
John is a giant, and, Sarah is a midget.
John’s blood is red, and, Sarah’s blood is red.
