The Majority vs. The Best
The majority of workers work for eight hours a day. But that’s not necessarily the most efficient number of hours that an employer can enslave an employee with, to squeeze the most effectiveness of productive effort by the employee.
The majority of workers work for other people, but that’s not necessarily the best way for one to make a living, to change lives, or to leave a dent in this world.
The majority of people get paid once a month, but that’s not necessarily the best modus operandi to realize financial freedom, or to keep one’s landlord’s mouth shut.
The majority of employers rely on a CV (
the past) to judge a job seeker. But that’s not necessarily the best way to predict the potential (the future) of a job seeker.
Generally, the best are the minority. The square peg in a round hole. The misfits.
(Although
democracy subtly assert otherwise: to be amongst the majority isn’t necessarily to be, to have chosen, to have said, or, to have done the best.)
