When Better Doesn’t Matter

How would candles work should companies that make candles try to compete with light bulbs; an invention that, without a doubt, immensely shrank their profits?

In there lies one of the many “positive” facets of competition.

But to make the most of that, one must look for the things that makes them unique, not cheap tactics to “kill” one’s competitors, or to fight newer technology.

Light bulbs, though “better” than candles, can never give one a candle lit dinner.

(As a matter of fact, a candle lit dinner would not be so “romantic,” should light bulbs have not been.)
